System Admin Team Lead

About the role

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team owning critical IT infrastructure.
• Manage design, implementation, operation, and improvement of infrastructure across on-prem and cloud.
• Ensure high availability, performance, and stability, incl. 24/7 support when required.
• Build and execute annual infrastructure roadmaps aligned with business goals.
• Manage budgets, procurement, vendors, and HW/SW lifecycle.
• Lead infrastructure projects, upgrades, migrations, and modernization.
• Collaborate with business units, security teams, and external partners.
• Drive cloud optimization: cost control, resource utilization, efficiency.

Requirements

• 5+ years managing enterprise Windows Server environments.
• Strong expertise in Active Directory (Multi-Domain/Forest), DNS, DHCP, PKI/CA, GPO.
• Proven VMware experience (clusters, DRS/HA, host upgrades).
• Experience with HP and Dell server platforms.
• Strong knowledge of SAN/NAS storage and virtual networking.
• Citrix Virtual Apps & Desktops (Delivery Controllers, StoreFront, NetScaler, FSLogix/UPM).
• Experience with hybrid infra integrating on-prem with Azure/AWS/GCP.
• Hands-on Microsoft Entra ID, M365, Exchange Online.
• Understanding of Microsoft licensing (Core, CALs, M365, EA).
• PowerShell automation scripting.
• Experience with firewalls, Commvault, MoveIt, IIS, SQL servers.
