Cyber Security Architect

About the role

Responsibilities

• Provide cyber security guidance across infrastructure, application, and cloud projects.
• Identify exposures, assess risks, and define controls and mitigation plans.
• Partner with tech teams to design and implement secure architectures.
• Define security requirements and ensure proper solution implementation.
• Review systems, apps, and cloud for compliance with policies and regulation.
• Develop and maintain security architecture guidelines and standards.
• Produce security requirement docs, risk assessments, recommendations.
• Support secure development and guide secure coding practices.
• Work with IT teams, vendors, and integrators to meet security requirements.
• Participate in security reviews and technology evaluations.

Requirements

• 5+ years in Information/Cyber Security, OR 2+ years as Security Architect in a financial org.
• Proven experience developing security policies, standards, guidelines.
• Hands-on writing security requirements for on-prem and cloud.
• Proven experience designing and reviewing secure architectures.
• Experience guiding secure software development.
• Strong understanding of enterprise security technologies and frameworks.
• Familiarity with regulatory/compliance environments.
• Knowledge of PCI-DSS and ISO 27001.
• Experience performing security risk assessments.
• Understanding of cloud security principles.
